Debra Sibley Bio
I was riding before I was born, so I have been told. I never even owned a saddle of my own until I was old enough to purchase my first one myself. Let the problems begin. I never had a sore backed horse until I started riding real saddles. In the 70's, I began taking each horse I was training to the tree maker. Even then that was not always a guarantee. I always asked, Why can't you just take the boards out?
I always got the two headed monster look. Then Bingo I met a man who had the same idea I did, No Board's. But oh my, what a mess. It took me two years of begging and pleading to get each little change made. Then the greed monster raised its ugly head and I just stopped on my dream saddle. They were ok, still both ugly but I was a long ways from being finished.
I always told the pro girls and all my friends at the futurities someday I would finish my saddle. With the help of Bret Hadlock, the Ultra Lite is that saddle. A saddle that is the best for the horse and rider alike.
As for me I come for a rodeo family in California. My uncle Ben Bruton was a stock contractor and put on a lot of IRA rodeos. I have been a member of the WPRA since the early 70's and began raising horses at about the same time. I was a spokeswoman for many years for the WPRA and now hold my Gold Card.
Who am I? Just a woman who knew a saddle could be made with out those nasty boards running down the horses back. It was a dream I never gave up on. If you believe, pretty soon someone will look at you like you have only one Head. (Grin)
The one thing I will tell you about our saddle is that they alleviate your horse back pain. The bonus is that they also remove the majority of your hip or back pain also. We have several awesome testimonials form people. I will continue to run new ones as they come in.
Thank you for sharing my dream for our four legged friends.
